Description
Box gutters, valley gutters and parapet gutters on commercial, industrial and larger period roofs carry far more water than a domestic gutter, and they typically span wider than the standard 1m roll width used for house gutters. This system lines those wider gutters using our 2.5mm fleece-reinforced self-adhesive EPDM membrane, supplied as a made-to-measure bundle of rolls sized and joined to cover the full width and length of the gutter run.
It is intended for roofing contractors quoting gutter relining on warehouses, retail units, schools and other commercial or industrial buildings, and for roofers working on wide valley or parapet gutters on period, church or other heritage-adjacent buildings where a single 1m roll will not span the channel.
Specification (reused from our Self-Adhesive Reinforced EPDM Membrane 2.5mm – Full Bond Flat Roofing System listing)
- 2.5mm single-ply EPDM with integral glass fibre / fleece reinforcement
- Factory-applied self-adhesive backing
- Fully elastic and flexible down to -40°C
- Heat-weldable lap joints between rolls
- No shrinkage over service life
That base membrane's own listing already names gutter linings and parapet walls as an ideal application, and its narrowest roll width as suited to "gutters, narrow channels, parapet linings." Its BBA and CE certification covers the standard roll formats (10m lengths, widths up to 1m). That certification has not been confirmed for bespoke wide-format runs assembled from multiple rolls, so no certification claim is made for this configuration until that is checked with the supplier.
Configuration
Supplied as multiple rolls of the 2.5mm reinforced membrane, heat-welded together on site to form a single lining across gutters wider than one roll. Available as:
- Up to 1m wide (single roll width) x 10m or 20m run
- 1-2m wide (two rolls joined) x 10m or 20m run
- Wider or longer runs made to measure - contact us with your gutter dimensions
What's included
Membrane cut and supplied for the ordered width and length.
What else the job needs
Substrate primer and heat-welding equipment for the on-site lap joints (a compatible primer may be needed depending on substrate), plus outlets or drain connectors sized to the gutter - see our EPDM Industrial Roof Drain Connector.
What it replaces
Full box, valley or parapet gutter replacement, which typically means stripping back roof coverings or cladding at the gutter line. Lining leaves the existing gutter structure in place and addresses failed joints and worn linings without that work.
