The room below is uncomfortable, and the roof covering itself ages faster: felt softens and blisters, bitumen bleeds, membranes and adhesives work harder through every heat cycle.
A brilliant-white solar reflective coating bounces that heat back off the roof instead of letting it soak in.
This is a fibre-reinforced, one-coat white topcoat for existing flat roofs.
It goes on cold by brush, roller or squeegee over sound felt, asphalt, concrete, metal or timber, and cures to a tough, flexible, highly reflective white film.
The embedded fibres bridge and reinforce as the coating cures, so it copes with the small movements and hairline crazing that come with an ageing roof rather than cracking over them.

What this is for — and what it isn't
Think of this as a protective and reflective topcoat for a roof that is already watertight: summer heat management, UV protection, and buying years of extra life out of a sound covering.
It is not the product for chasing an active leak or rebuilding a failed roof.

Coverage is a guide only. Rough, porous or previously coated surfaces absorb more — always allow a margin and test a small area first.
Application & ordering guidance
Work on a dry roof with settled weather ahead, and get the surface properly clean first — loose grit, moss, algae and old dirt will stop any coating bonding, so sweep thoroughly and degrease where needed; our Weathered Membrane Cleaner is useful on greasy or heavily weathered areas.
Deal with any actual defects before coating, not after: seal splits and open laps with EPDM Lap Sealant or the black liquid rubber system, let them cure, then apply the reflective topcoat across the whole roof for an even finish.
Measure your roof area in m² and order to the upper end of the coverage range — one 20kg tub suits a roof of roughly 10–20m², so a typical garage needs two.

Will this stop a leak?
No — treat it as protection for a roof that is already watertight.
Repair splits, blisters and failed laps first with a waterproofing product, let them cure, then coat over the top.
How much cooler will my roof actually be?
A white reflective surface absorbs far less solar heat than a black one, so surface temperatures drop substantially in direct sun and the space below stays noticeably more comfortable.
The exact difference depends on your roof build-up, insulation and orientation, so we don't quote a figure we can't stand behind for your specific roof.
Can I use it over an EPDM rubber roof?
It is formulated for felt, asphalt, concrete, metal and timber.
EPDM is a different surface chemistry — if you want to reflect heat off an EPDM roof, contact us first rather than assuming compatibility.
Do I need two coats?
It is designed as a one-coat system. On very porous or dark surfaces a second coat improves both opacity and reflectivity, so order accordingly.
When is the best time to apply it?
Dry, mild weather with no rain forecast for 24–48 hours.
Late spring and early summer are ideal — the coating is fully cured before the hottest weeks arrive.
