Cheap membranes crack, peel, and fail within years. Our 1.5mm heavy-duty EPDM is the commercial-grade specification trusted by professional roofing contractors across the UK.
⚠ Remember: Always allow 150mm overlap on all edges when measuring. We cut every sheet to your exact dimensions.

✅ 8 Reasons This Is The Last Membrane You'll Ever Buy
30% thicker than standard 1.2mm. Significantly better tear resistance, superior durability, and more forgiving on uneven or aged deck surfaces.
Independently assessed and certified by the British Board of Agrément. Used by specifiers, architects and local authorities across the UK.
EPDM roofing systems have been in use since the 1960s with a demonstrated 50-year track record. Install once and forget about it for decades.
Applied using contact adhesive — no flames, no hot works permit, no molten bitumen. Safe for homeowners and professionals alike.
Tested from -40°C to +120°C. Will not crack in frost or become brittle in heatwaves. Perfect for the UK's unpredictable climate.
Available up to 15.24m wide and 30.5m long. A single unbroken sheet eliminates join failures — the most common cause of flat roof leaks.
Every sheet is cut to your exact dimensions from large pre-joined rolls. Simply select your width and enter your required length in metres.
Handles light foot traffic during and after installation. Resists falling branches, bird impact and general weather debris without puncture.
🛒 How To Order Your Membrane — It's Simple
- Measure your roof — width and length in metres
- Add 150mm on every edge (e.g. 3m roof = order 3.3m width/length)
- Select your width from the dropdown above
- Enter your length in the length field (e.g. 4.5 for 4.5 metres)
- The area calculates automatically — add to basket
💡 Pro Tip: Not sure which width to select? Choose the next size up. The 1.5mm membrane is more pliable than standard, making it easier to fold and trim at edges and upstands.

🔨 Professional Installation Guidance
Deck Preparation: Best results are achieved by installing onto a new OSB3 or S-Grade Plywood deck. The new deck can be laid directly over your existing roof covering without stripping. The substrate must be completely dry before installation.
Minimum Installation Temperature: 5°C. Below this, water-based deck adhesives may freeze and fail. Contact adhesive can be used in lower temperatures.
Removing Creases: Manufacturer's creases from storage can be gently removed by applying warm air (heat gun on low) and flattening by hand, then adhering with contact adhesive.
Getting it onto the Roof: Fold the sheet accordion-style before carrying up. Two people make this significantly easier for wider sheets.
Storage Before Installation: If storing for more than a few days, re-roll the membrane lengthways to prevent creasing. Store adhesives and trims indoors away from temperature extremes.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is there a right side up?
A: No — the 1.5mm EPDM membrane performs identically on both sides. You may notice manufacturer text on one side from production; this has no effect on performance.
Q: Can I lay EPDM over existing felt?
A: No. EPDM rubber is chemically incompatible with felt and should not be laid directly onto it. Always use a new timber deck layer.
Q: Can I walk on it?
A: Yes. EPDM handles light foot traffic during and after installation. Avoid sharp objects on boot soles or tools that could puncture the membrane.
Q: Can it be repaired if damaged?
A: Yes — one of EPDM's best qualities. Small holes and tears can be repaired quickly and easily using EPDM repair tape or patches, often in under 30 minutes.
Q: Will I need additional products?
A: Yes. For a complete installation you will also need: deck adhesive or contact adhesive, seam tape, edge trim/drip trim, and upstand trim. These are available separately in our store.
Q: What is the 1.5mm vs 1.2mm difference?
A: The 1.5mm (technically 1.52mm) is 30% thicker, lies flatter and more easily, has superior tear resistance, and is the recommended choice whenever decking, screed, tiles or a green roof will be installed over it.
