Description
Self-adhesive detailing only sticks as well as the surface you give it. FlexiProof EPDM Primer preps the membrane before pressure-sensitive flashing tape, seam tape, corner patches or termination detailing goes down — wipe it onto clean, dry EPDM, let it flash off, then press the tape home for a permanent, fully-bonded seal instead of a weak surface stick.
- For priming EPDM membrane ahead of tape, corner patches and flashing details
- Fast flash-off — ready to tape in minutes
- Three sizes to match the length of detailing you're covering

Frequently asked questions
Which size do I need? As a guide, choose 250ml for a small shed roof's detailing, 500ml for a typical garage or garden room, and 1L for larger roofs or multiple jobs.
Do I always need primer under tape? Yes — pressure-sensitive tapes and patches rely on primed EPDM for a permanent bond. Unprimed tape joints are the most common cause of detailing failure.
How long before I can apply tape? Apply tape as soon as the primer has flashed off to a touch-dry finish — typically a few minutes in dry conditions.
Is this the same as bonding adhesive? No. This primer is for tape adhesion only. To bond membrane sheets, upstands or trims to a roof deck, use our FlexiProof EPDM Contact Bonding Adhesive.
Detailing corners? Pair with our pre-formed EPDM corner patches and uncured flashing tape.
