Where a site requires documented EN compliance — for a principal contractor, an insurer, or a commercial job — the EN-Certified Premium Kit is the one to specify.
Can I use this without a proper anchor point? No. A fall arrest kit is only as safe as what it's tied off to — a structurally sound anchor point rated for fall arrest loads is essential; never anchor to a chimney pot, vent pipe or gutter bracket.
How long does the rope/lanyard last? Inspect the full length before every use for cuts, abrasion or UV damage, and retire the whole assembly immediately after it has arrested a fall, even if it looks undamaged.
Is this suitable for both flat and pitched roofs? Yes — the harness and rope-grab system works on both, though your anchor point location and rope length should be chosen for the specific roof geometry.
What size fits most users? Both harnesses are supplied with adjustable leg and chest straps to fit most adult body sizes; check the manufacturer's size chart before ordering if you are outside an average build.
