Downpipes are the part of a rainwater system people notice only when they fail — and plastic ones fail predictably, going brittle and chalky within a decade of facing south. Powder-coated aluminium doesn't.
This flush-joint round system slots together without visible collars for a clean vertical line down the wall, and every piece you need for a real installation is here: 3m lengths, bends, swannecks around eaves overhangs, shoes, clips, hoppers and access plates.

Frequently asked questions
Which diameter do I need? Match the downpipe to your gutter outlet.
63mm is the standard choice for most domestic roofs; 76mm suits larger roof areas, longer gutter runs and commercial buildings where flow rates are higher.
What is a swanneck for? Where the roof overhangs the wall, the pipe has to step back from the gutter outlet to the wall face.
The adjustable swanneck makes that offset in one piece rather than cobbling together two bends.
How many clips do I need? Fix a clip near the top of each 3m length and at roughly 1.8–2m intervals down the run, plus one just above the shoe.
Use adjustable pipe clips where the wall face is uneven or you need to set the pipe off the wall.
What is an access plate? A removable inspection plate fitted into the run so a blockage can be cleared without dismantling the pipe — worth fitting near the base of any run that collects leaves.
Does the flush joint need sealing? The internal jointer locates the pipe ends and keeps the outside line clean; downpipes run under gravity and are not pressurised, so joints are located rather than sealed.
