Aluminium Guttering

Powder-coated aluminium gutter systems — box and half round profiles with all matching fittings, in Textured Black and Anthracite Grey. Aluminium is a sensible upgrade from uPVC on a roof you have just re-covered: it holds its shape in heat, does not go brittle and chalky after a few summers, and the powder-coated finish stays looking right for far longer.

Box or half round?

Box profile has the greater carrying capacity and a squarer, more contemporary line — it suits garden rooms, extensions and modern flat-roof work. Half round is the traditional domestic profile and sits more comfortably on an older property. Both take the same range of stop ends, outlets, angles and brackets.

Sizing and falls

Gutter size follows roof area and rainfall intensity, not habit — an undersized gutter on a large roof will overshoot in heavy rain no matter how well it is fitted. Set a consistent fall towards the outlet and space brackets closely enough that the run cannot sag between them.
